Peacefully, with family by her side, at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa on Monday, February 8th, 2016. Betty, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Albert Eccleston. Loving mother of Jillian Dawbarn and husband Chris of England, Jacqueline Dewhurst and partner Rob of Prince George BC, Barbara Kennedy and husband Terry of Ajax, Laura Armstrong and late husband Ron of Toronto, Philippa (Judy) McMahan and husband Chuck of Georgia, and Matthew Eccleston and wife Gwen of Oshawa. Lovingly remembered by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and she was looking forward to soon becoming a great-great-grandmother. Predeceased by her sisters Carol and Winnie and her brother Brian. Fondly remembered by her sister-in-law Doris Booth and by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
