Grandpa of Ross (Mishelle), James, Jordan, Gabrielle and Zachary. Great-grandfather of Macaela and Jimi. Survived by brother Thomas (Patricia) and sister-in-law Lois and predeceased by brothers Paul and Ross. Charles was with The Boy Scouts of Canada for 14 years and acted as the District Commissioner. He was also a member of the Salvation Army for over 60 years.After his retirement from General Motors he pursued and developed his interest in working with stain glass art.Friends and relatives may pay their respects at The Salvation Army, 570 Thornton Road North, Oshawa(at Rossland Road West) on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.
