Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Saturday, September 28, 2013.Loving wife of David G. Barr.Mother of Corey and his wife Krista, Scott and his wife Carrie and the late Dennis. Grandmother of Colby, Wyatt, Hayley, Natalie, Austin and Brolan. Nancy will also be missed by her brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.A celebration of life will be held at the Newcastle Community Hall, 20 King Ave W, Newcastle, on Monday, October 7, 2013 from 3pm to 5pm.Donations to Durham Regional Cancer Centre,1 Hospital Court Oshawa ON L1G 2B9 or to Christian Horizons, House #5, 1421 Lansdowne Street West, Peterborough, ON, K9J 7M3 would be appreciated by the family.A special thank you to the CCAC care givers, Dr. Kassirer & team, the Durham Region Cancer Centre and Dr. Rothestein and team.
