We are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Joseph Fidele DesRoches (Phil) – beloved Father, Grandfather, Uncle and friend to many. He passed away on Thursday October 30th 2014 in Brooklin Ontario. He was born March 9th, 1939 raised in Summerside by his parents Matias (Matt) and Lucy DesRoches. He was the eldest of 4 – brother to Nora, Louis and Linda. Fidele worked as a speech and language pathologist for 50 years, touching the lives of many in his practice. Fidele is survived by his 3 daughters Andrea, Tanya and Dennise, 2 sons Mark and Steven, and 6 grandchildren Ray, Danielle, Matthew, Sydney, Quinton, and Colin. Memorial service to be held Sunday November 9th 3:00 pm at St John the Evangelist Parish – 903 Giffard St, Whitby, ON, L1N 2S2. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fidele’s name to the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly
