She will be missed by her nieces and nephews and her 4-legged friends Thor, Ellie and Gavin.

The family of Patricia Smith will receive friends at the Thorne Funeral Home, in Cannington on Monday, March 18th from 1 – 2 p.m. A Service to celebrate her life will be held in the Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment Cedar Vale Cemetery, Cannington.

Peter, at the age of 74, was the loving husband of Ruth McCurdy.

Devoted step father of Heather McCurdy of Montreal and Andrew McCurdy (Janet) of Trenton; adored grandfather of Riley and Sophie.

Peter was the father of Martin Stewart (Shannon) of Bowmanville; and the grandfather of Ashlynn, Taylor and Aidan. He will be remembered by his niece Claire and nephew Dean Spencer of Chester, England.

Peter valued many great friendships over the years and held deep respect for his fellow tradesman at GM Oshawa.

Visitation will take place at the Mount Lawn Funeral Home, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby on Monday, March 11, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until time of service in the Chapel at 1:00 p.m.

If desired memorial donations to the Marigold Hospice Care Clarington, the Canadian Cancer Society or the Grandview Children’s Home would be appreciated by the family.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of a loving husband, father, son and brother, Peter Woods.

Peter was born in Deep River and grew up in Mississauga.

He moved out to Bowmanville/ Newcastle and worked at Darlington Nuclear Power Generation, which he retired from a few years ago as an Authorized Nuclear Operator.

He was a kind gentle man who loved kids and dogs. Peter is predeceased by his parents Raph and Margaret Woods and his brother Jim Woods. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Christine and son, Cameron.

He will also be greatly missed by his brother Doug and wife Linda, his sister Lucy, Nancy, Tina, and sister-in-law Marie (Jim’s wife). Peter will also be missed by nephews Stephen, Brian, Kevin and Jermy, his nieces Amy and Christy.

A memorial Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 6, 2024, from 12:00pm – 1:00pm and a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00pm. at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, Bowmanville.

Donations can be made to Sick Kids in lieu of flowers.

Cherished Paul-Paul to Adaline and Makinleigh and Grandpa to Willow. Much loved son of Ted and the late Sheila Dadson and loving brother to Cathy Dadson.

Dear son-in-law of Carol Nicholl. Paul was born and raised in Bowmanville, Ontario. He was fortunate enough to retire early and enjoy life. The things that brought Paul great joy in life were his happy place in cottage country, campfires, road trips and little getaways, music, and family - especially his granddaughters and grand-fur babies. He loved all sports with his favourites being baseball, golf, hockey, fishing, and kayaking.

Paul was fortunate to have many devoted friends within the community, some being through Goodyear, the Legion, his golf league, and his Stormy Lake friends.

A Celebration of Paul’s life will be held Saturday, April 6th, 2024, from 2 p.m., - 6 p.m. at the Bowmanville Legion - upstairs.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to Bowmanville Memorial Hospital or Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178 Poppy Fund .

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Joseph Sexton who passed away peacefully at the Orillia Soldier Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the age of 69 following a long battle with cancer.

Paul was the loving son of the late Mildred Sexton (Sellers) and Stephen J. Sexton.

Loving husband to Lorraine Sexton(Falls) and dear brother of Mike Sexton (Charlotte), John Sexton(Susan), Barb Sexton & Peter Sexton(Lori).

Paul had a kind, loving and caring nature who loved guitar, art, piano and had a keen interest in nature and the cosmos, not to mention a passion for golf at Cedarhurst.

Paul will be fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends for his keen sense of humour and being so fun loving.

Paul will be greatly missed.

Pedro left us on February 02, 2024, in Ajax, Ontario, Canada.

He spent his last few days being admitted at the Lakeridge Hospital and parted from us peacefully at 9:55 p.m.

He was born to Maria and Pedro Taguilaso Sr. on January 31, 1933, in Luisiana, Laguna, Philippines.

He married Ceding, the love of his life, in 1956. Pedro has left behind a loving son Joey and a kind-hearted daughter in-law Cecile. He also has wonderful grandchildren, Jovi and Chelsea.

Pedring, to his friends, was popular among his close ones for his love for farming, despite being a carpenter by profession. It was a deeply personal achievement and success for him.

The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024 at the McEachnie Funeral Home from 9 to 10:30 a.m.

The Funeral Mass will be at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. with interment to follow the Mass.
